Welcome to the “I Might Be Onto Something” Seminar (imboss) homepage where, at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, we promote and communicate creative mathematical activity.
imboss is a place where students and faculty in the Department of Mathematics can freely discuss ideas that have popped into consciousness: nothing too serious, just a sharing of what you are thinking about and finding interesting, or wish you knew more about.
For Fall 2020, and Winter & Spring 2021, our seminar meetings will be Zoom meetings. All Zoom meetings will be recorded with links to the recordings on this website.
Mathematics majors & graduate students, and Department of Mathematics faculty have automatic admission to the Zoom seminar meetings. If you would like to attend one or more of these meetings, where you can interact with the speaker, please register here.
